These are his recommendations for the care and maintenance of Turfgrass Soccer Fields:
Football fields with artificial turf
During the last decade, the number of football fields with artificial turf has grown exponentially, especially since the advent of so called third generation artificial turf, which continues to evolve and continues today.
It is a safer lawn, tougher and with characteristics similar to the natural grass. Major advances in this sector are the incorporation of fibers of very low abrasion and high durability, the threads of a single structure (monofilament) and rubber granules as extra padding.

However, the reduction of maintenance should not be confused with the absence. Depending on factors such as hours of use, high and low temperatures, rain or wind, artificial turf can become degraded if subjected to poor or no maintenance, losing its characteristics long before it should be, suffering premature degradation and causing gaps in the game and physical problems in athletes.
Proper maintenance will prolong the life of the field, ensuring quality and providing it with maximum longevity. They are indispensable on the one hand, small control tasks, hygiene and proper use of the facilities, and other routine maintenance performed by qualified personnel, to minimize the action of external agents and correct the defects caused by wear.
Some of the maintenance work should be at least a couple of times a year, are as follows:
