Turfgrass congratulates Alcoyano on their promotion to the Second Division

Yesterday afternoon, Club Deportivo Alcoyano became a new team in Spanish football’s second category.

Alcoyano won promotion in Lugo after beating the Galician team 1-0. César Remón scored the only goal of the game close to half time, taking the aggregate score to 2-0.

So Deportivo return to the Second Division after 42 years away.
